DESCRIPTION: 

Albendazole is a synthetic anthelmintic which belongs to the group of benzimidazole-derivatives with activity against a broad range of worms and at a higher dosage level also against adult stages of liver-fluke.

 

INDICATION: 

Prophylaxis and treatment of worm infections in calves, cattle, goats and sheep, like: Gastrointestinal worms: Bunostomum spp., Cooperia spp., Chabertia spp., Haemonchus spp., Nematodirus spp., Oesophagostomum spp., Ostertagia spp., Strongyloides spp. and Trichostrongylus spp.

Lung worms: Dictyocaulus viviparus and D. filaria.

Tapeworms: Monieza spp.

Liver-fluke: adult Fasciola hepatica.

 

CONTRAINDICATION:

Administration in the first 45 days of gestation.

 

SIDE EFFECTS: 

Hypersensitivity reactions.

 

DOSAGE: 

For oral administration; shake well before use.

Calves and cattle:     1.0 ml per 12 kg body weight.

Liver-fluke: 1.0 ml per 10 kg body weight.

Goats and sheep:    1.0 ml per 20 kg body weight.

Liver-fluke: 1.0 ml per 12 kg body weight.

 

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: 

For meat : 12 days.

For milk :    4 days.

 

PACKAGING:

Bottle of 100 ml and jerrycan of 500 and 1000 ml.

 

STORAGE: 

Stored in darkness at no more than 25 ° C. You can not freeze.
