Indications for use
In dogs:
Active immunization against plague, adenovirus, parvovirus, parainfluenza type 2 respiratory infections, and Leptospira canicola and Leptospira leterohaemorrhagiae.
Dosage, route(s) and method of administration for each species
Inject 1 ml of the dose subcutaneously according to the following schedule:
Primary vaccination
First injection: from 7 weeks of age.
Second injection: after 3 to 5 weeks of age, from 12 weeks of age.
Dose booster
annually.
Special warnings for use
Vaccinate only an absolutely healthy animal, properly examined not less than 10 days before vaccination.
Do not allow the dog to perform heavy physical activities until full immunity is achieved.
In case of serious risk of leptospirosis, a semester booster is recommended.
Adverse effects (frequency and seriousness)
Vaccination can cause a transient local reaction, as well as hyperthermia.
As with any vaccine, a hypersensitivity reaction may occur. This is rare and appropriate symptomatic treatment should be used.
Overdose (symptoms, emergency procedures, antidote), if necessary
Injection of an overdose of the vaccine can cause post-vaccination depression, as well as transient allergic reactions.
Immunological properties
Vaccine against distemper, adenovirus, parvovirus, parainfluenza type 2 respiratory infections (live) and Leptospira canicola and Leptospira leterohaemorrhagiae (inactivated) in dogs.
After administration, the vaccine causes immunity in dogs against distemper, adenovirus, parvovirus, parainfluenza type 2 respiratory infections (live) and Leptospira canicola and Leptospira leterohaemorrhagiae (inactivated).
Use during pregnancy and lactation
No side effects have been observed in female animals during pregnancy.
