Composition:

Povidon Iodine .............................................................................................................. 100 mg.
Description:
The drug has antiseptic and broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity. It is active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, fungi, viruses, protozoa. The active substance of the drug, iodine, is presented in the complex form of polyvinyl-pyrrolidone iodine. The concentration of active iodine is 0.1%. At the place of application of iodine, a thin colored layer is formed, which is maintained until the total amount of iodine is released. After that, the drug stops working.
Indication:
The drug is used to treat the skin surface before or after surgery (including injections, puncture, biopsy, blood sampling). Also for the treatment of wounds, burns, trophic ulcers, bedsores, infectious dermatitis, patient hygiene, acute and chronic vaginitis (mixed, non-specific infections, trichomonosis and candidiasis). Disinfection of animal limbs in case of necrobacillosis disease. In the case of manipulations before and after castration. For disinfection of buildings, production facilities, catering facilities, medical facilities, animal stalls, incubators, poultry, feed, water vessels and other devices.
Dosage and Dosage:
Iodine solution is used without dilution or in the form of a 1:10 or 1:100 dilution of an aqueous solution. In order to disinfect the surface of the skin, the undiluted solution is applied to the healthy surface of the skin as an exposure for 1-2 minutes. In wounds, burns, bacterial and fungal skin lesions. An aqueous solution of iodine with a dilution of 1:10 is used. A 1:100 diluted aqueous solution is used for patient hygiene.
