Description:
Dark brown ointment with the smell of ichthyol in a 40-gram aluminum tube.
Composition:
100 grams of the drug contains:
Ichthyol - 10 g.;
Excipients: veterinary vaseline.
Pharmacological properties:
ATC veterinary classification code QD08A10. Ichthyol.
The ointment has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, keratoplastic and local anesthetic effects. After application to wounds and mucous membranes, in addition to the antiseptic effect, the drug constricts blood vessels, reduces secretion and exudation, has an analgesic effect and accelerates tissue regeneration.

Indications:
For the treatment of animals for local use in complex therapy. Treatment of skin diseases (burns, wounds, eczema, dermatitis, furunculosis, pyoderma), as well as arthritis, neuralgia, bursitis.
Dosage:
The ointment is used in the form of dressings, applications and tampons. After cleaning the affected area of the body from fur, foreign objects, exudate and necrotic tissues or hygienic treatment of the affected area, the ointment is applied evenly 1-2 times a day until the signs of the disease disappear. The amount of ointment depends on the area of the affected area of the body, on average 5-10 g is used.
