Antibacterial powder
Composition:
1 gr. The powder contains:
Amoxicillin Trihydrate ................................................ ................................................ .........200 mg.
Characterization:
Amoxicillin belongs to the semi-synthetic penicillin group of antibiotics, which has a bactericidal effect on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, against such microorganisms as: Campylobacter, E.coli, Erysipelothrix, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Clostridia, Salmonella, as well as penicillin-resistant staphylococci and streptococci. The bactericidal effect is due to the inhibition of the synthesis of the bacterial cell membrane.
Indications:
The drug is used in gastrointestinal, respiratory and genitourinary infections caused by amoxicillin-sensitive microorganisms in calves, goats, sheep, poultry, and pigs, as well as clostridia, campylobacter, intestinal yeast,
Against salmonella, red wind, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, penicillin-negative staphylococci and streptococci.
Method of administration and dosage:
The drug is used orally
Calf, goat, sheep: ................. 5 g per 100 kg of live weight, twice a day, for 3-5 days.
Poultry and pigs: ......... 1 kg in 1000-2000 l drinking water, for 3-5 days.
Contraindication:
Hypersensitivity to amoxicillin.
Severe form of renal dysfunction.
It is not prescribed together with tetracycline, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamides.
Waiting period:
Meat:
Calf, goat, pig: 8 days.
Poultry: 3 days.
