Anti-inflammatory injection for parenteral administration

Description:
Dexamethasone is a glucocorticosteroid with a strong antiflogistic, anti-allergic and gluconeogenetic action.
Indications:
Dexamethasone may be used whenever a parenteral corticosteroid preparation giving a medium duration of activity is indicated. It can be used as an anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic agent in cattle, pigs, goats, sheep, dogs and cats, and for the treatment of primary ketosis in cattle. The product can also be used to induce parturition in cattle. Dexamethasone is suitable for treatment of acetone anaemia, allergies, arthritis, bursitis, shock and tendovaginitis.
Dosage:
For intramuscular or intravenous administration.
Cattle: ...........................................................5 - 15 ml.
Calves, goats, sheep and swine: ..................... 1 - 2.5 ml.
Dogs: ........................................................ 0.25 - 1 ml.
Cats: ............................................................. 0.25 ml.
Withdrawal times:
- For meat : 3 days.
- For milk : 1 days.

Contra-indications:
Unless abortion or early parturition is required, administration of Glucortin-20 during the last trimester of gestation is contra-indicated. Administration to animals with an impaired renal or heart function. Osteoporosis.
