For the active immunization of chickens against infectious Bronchitis

Composition:

Vaccine contains the Massachusetts H-120 strain of Infectious Bronchitis virus in live, freeze-dried form. The embryonated hen eggs used in the production of the vaccine are obtained from specified-pathogen-free (SPF) flocks.

Indication:

For the active immunization of healthy chickens against Infectious Bronchitis. The vaccine may be used for initial or re-vaccination of broilers, pullets and hens.

Administration and dosage:

Primary vaccination should be carried-out with Cevac® Bron 120 L by eye-drop or spray method, as from 1 day of age. Booster vaccination is recommended three to four weeks later by spray or drinking water. For pullets, a second booster vaccination is recommended at 10 to 12 weeks of age. Aerosol Method: Use sterile diluted water and open the vaccine as explained in the eye drop method. Method of drinking water: To help maintain the activity of the virus, neutralize chlorine with 2.5 g of boiled milk powder per liter of water or 15 mg. Sodium thiosulfate per liter of water. Do not use water containing high concentrations of metal ions. Mix the vaccine with clean, cool, non-chlorinated water by opening the vial under water for 10 minutes. When the tank is empty: Fill it with boiled milk powder, set for 10 minutes. Then open the water system to drain the remaining vaccine solution into the tubing system.

Contraindication:

In rare cases, birds may experience mild catarrhal respiratory symptoms (4-6 days after vaccination), disappearing on their own within a few days.
