Invet Group Opens a Modern Grain Storage Facility in Kanda
An analysis of Invet Group's operational results for 2022 revealed the need to develop its own grain storage infrastructure. The primary objective of the project was to ensure efficient raw material inventory management and maintain uninterrupted production processes.
The project was launched in 2023, when the company acquired an investment land plot in Kanda. A modern grain storage facility was subsequently developed on the site, featuring silo reservoirs with a total storage capacity of 11,000 tonnes.
The project was implemented with the support of the Rural Development Agency under the State Preferential Agrocredit Programme. The total project cost amounts to GEL 4,400,000, of which GEL 1,500,000 represents preferential agrocredit financing and GEL 364,818 constitutes government co-financing.
The new grain storage facility is equipped with modern grain storage management systems that enable daily monitoring and control of moisture and temperature levels. These systems ensure optimal storage conditions and help preserve grain quality.
The 11,000-tonne silo infrastructure enables Invet Group to store its seasonal grain reserves for 2026 in its own modern facilities, strengthen its logistics capabilities, and manage raw material resources required for production processes even more efficiently.
The official opening of the Kanda grain storage facility took place on October 22, 2026. This new facility represents a significant investment project for Invet Group, contributing to the development of the company's infrastructure, increased operational efficiency, and the achievement of its long-term strategic objectives.
