Complex antibacterial solution for parenteral administration

Composition:

Each ml of solution contains:
Sulfadoxine........................................................................................200 mg.
Trimethoprim…............………...........….....…………………….40 mg.

Target animals:

Cattle, calves, sheep, goats and pigs.

Indications:

Gastrointestinal tract, urinary system and respiratory infections in cattle, calves, sheep, goats and pigs caused by bacteria sensitive to trimethoprim and sulfadoxine, such as E. coli, Haemophilus spp., Pasteurella spp., Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus spp. and Streptococcus spp.

Dosage:
for intramuscular injection.
1 ml per 10-15 kg body weight for 3-5 days.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to trimethoprim and/or sulfonamides.
Serious impairment of kidney and/or liver function or blood dyscrasias

Side effects:
Anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia.

Waiting period:
Meat: 10 days.
Milk: 3 days.

Special precautions and warnings:
Special precautions for use in animals
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to trimethoprim and/or sulfonamides.
Do not use in case of serious impairment of kidney and/or liver function or blood dyscrasia.

Storage conditions:
Keep out of reach of children!

The shelf life of the drug is 3 years from the date of manufacture, when stored in a place protected from light at room temperature (15 - 25 °C).
After opening, the drug should be stored in a refrigerator (2 - 8 °C) and consumed within 2 weeks after opening.

Release form:

100 ml of the drug in a type II glass bottle accompanied by an annotation.
Pharmacotherapeutic group and ATC veterinary code: combinations of sulfonamides and trimethoprim.
