Solution for injection

Quantitative and qualitative composition per ml:
Oxytetracycline (as hydrochloride) 100 mg

Target species:
Calf, cattle, goats, sheep and pigs.

Indications:
Arthritis, gastrointestinal tract and respiratory infections in cattle, calves, sheep, goats and pigs caused by microorganisms sensitive to oxytetracycline, such as Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, Escherichia coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsiae, Salmonellae, Staphylococcus and others with strains of streptococci .

Dosage:
For intramuscular and subcutaneous injection.

In adult animals:
1 ml per 10-20 kg of live weight for 3-5 days.
In young animals:
2 ml per 10-20 kg of live weight for 3-5 days.
Do not use more than 20 ml per injection in cattle, more than 10 ml in pigs and more than 5 ml in calves, goats and sheep.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to tetracycline.
In case of serious liver and kidney function disorders.
Combination with penicillins, cephalosporins, quinolones and cycloserine.

Side effects:
When injected into a muscle, a local reaction may be observed, which disappears in a few days. In young animals, darkening of tooth enamel and hypersensitivity reactions may occur.

Excretion period:
- meat: 12 days;
- Milk: 5 days.

Storage conditions:
The shelf life of Limoxin 100 is 3 years from the date of manufacture, if stored in a place protected from light. After opening, the drug should be stored in a refrigerator (2-8 °C) in a dark place and should be used within 2 weeks.

Warnings:
Keep out of reach of children!
Do not prescribe Limoxin-100 in combination with iron preparations.
Direct skin contact should be avoided due to possible allergic reaction or development of contact dermatitis.
