Antibiotic for parenteral administration
Each ml of solution contains:
Oxytetracycline................................................... .......................200 mg
Target species:
Cattle, calves, sheep, goats and pigs.
Indications:
Arthritis, gastrointestinal tract and respiratory infections in cattle, calves, sheep, goats and pigs caused by the following microorganisms sensitive to oxytetracycline: Bordetella spp., Campylobacter spp., Chlamydia spp., E. coli, Haemophilus spp., Mycoplasma spp., Pasteurella spp., Ricketmonephylocp. spp. and Streptococcus spp.
Dosage:
For intramuscular or subcutaneous administration.
1 ml per 10 kg of weight.
If necessary, this dose can be repeated after 48 hours.
Do not inject more than 20 ml in cattle, 10 ml in pigs and 5 ml in calves, goats and sheep per injection site.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines.
Serious impairment of kidney and/or liver function in animals.
Simultaneous administration of penicillins, cephalosporins, quinolones and cycloserine.
Side effects:
Hypersensitivity reactions. After injection into the muscle, local reactions may develop, which disappear in a few days. Tooth discoloration in young animals and hypersensitivity reactions. Overdose can cause kidney toxicosis.
Waiting period:
Meat: 28 days
Milk: 7 days;

Limoxin-200 LA has a shelf life of 3 years when stored at 15 – 25 ºC. After first opening, store away from light in a refrigerator (2 – 8 °C) and consume within 2 weeks of opening.
Release form:
100 ml injection solution in a brown type II glass vial with a rubber stopper and sealed with an aluminum cap along with instructions.
