Sterile anti-anemic solution for injection

Qualitative and quantitative composition of each ml:

Iron (as iron dextran) 200 mg.

Vitamin B12, cyanocobalamin 200 mcg.

Target species: calf, pig.

Indications:

Treatment and prevention of anemia in calves and pigs.

Dosage: for subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.

Calf: ................................... 2-4 ml subcutaneously, during the first week after birth.

In the pig: ................................................ ........1 ml in the muscle, 3 days after birth.

Contraindications:

Appointment during vitamin E deficiency. Appointment during diarrhea in animals. Use in combination with tetracyclines, due to the interaction of iron with these drugs.

Side effects:

When using the drug, there is a change in the color of the muscle tissue, which is temporary. Leakage of the injection solution causes permanent skin discoloration.

Storage conditions:

Intrafer-200 B12 is suitable for 3 years when stored in a dry place, protected from light, at room temperature (15-25 °C). After opening Intrafer-200, the effectiveness of B12 is maintained for 2 weeks if stored in a cool (2-8 °C) place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children!

Warnings:

Avoid spilling the injection fluid as much as possible, as this may cause permanent skin discoloration. Sometimes it is possible to develop sudden death syndrome, which is individual and caused by hypersensitivity of piglets to iron.
