Turkey rhinotracheitis and swollen head syndrome, for ocular and nasal use

Composition:

One dose (0.03 ml) contains:

Live turkey rhinotracheitis virus strain 1062: 10 2.4 – 10 4.4 CCID 50.

Characterization:

For active immunization of birds against turkey rhinotracheitis virus (TRT), and swollen head syndrome (SHS) in chickens, layers, laying flocks and turkeys.

Target varieties:

In poultry farming (broilers, laying hens, egg-layers and turkeys).

Dosage and method of use:

For eye/nasal instillation, spray application or administration with drinking water to obtain a dose of 1000, dissolve the freeze-dried tablet in 30 ml of solvent and shake gently, (0.03 ml) of one vaccine use only one drop per bird. In the case of the spray method (large drop): check the equipment to be used is suitable for the amount of water required, as this depends entirely on the type of equipment and the size of the drop to be dispensed. Doses birds of any age (big drop) 1000 doses/200 – 250 ml. For use in drinking water: Open the freeze-dried tablet in a vial half-filled with fresh drinking water, shake, and pour into a container containing the vaccination water. Bird age Approximate amount of water per 1000 birds:

1-3 weeks 5-10 liters

4 – 9 weeks 12 – 23 liters

10-16 weeks 27-37 liters

18-22 weeks 37-50 liters

* Do not use water containing chlorine and disinfectants.

Vaccination program recommendation:

In broilers: the use of vaccination is recommended in birds aged 14 to 20 days.

Laying/breeding: implement a vaccination program based on disease incidence. Basically, vaccination is carried out at the age of 10 weeks and revaccination is carried out with inactivated and / or live vaccine before the laying period (18-22 weeks).

In turkeys: carry out vaccination in the first week after birth and revaccinate after 4-5 weeks;

Contraindications:

Do not use during ovulation.
