Description:

Qualitative and quantitative composition of each ml:

Oxytocin ................................................... ..................................... 20.0 Se

Target animals: horse, cow, pig, sheep, goat.

Indications:

Labor weakness, for stimulation of uterine contractility, retention of labor, uterine atony, treatment of uterine bleeding and postpartum agalactia (cessation of milk secretion).

Contraindications:

Undilated cervix. Incorrect position of the fetus or uterus. Obstructive complicated childbirth. Hypersensitivity to oxytocin.

Side effects:

Only in case of overdose: short-term vasodilatation and lowering of blood pressure. Strong stimulation of the uterus, through which the uterus contracts more often and for a longer time. During uterine spasms, the oxygen supply to the fetus can be compromised. water retention. Effect on fetal blood circulation.

Dosage:

For intramuscular or subcutaneous use.

Horse and cow: 2.0-2.5 ml

Pig: 1.0-2.0 ml

Sheep and goats: 0.5-1.5 ml

Waiting period:

Meat: 1 day

Milk: 1 day

Special Precautions:

Use aseptic precautions. It is recommended to start with a low initial dose and increase only if no effect is observed. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to oxytocin. In case of accidental self-injection, ingestion, contact with skin and eyes, consult a doctor and show the annotation or the label of the drug. In case of accidental skin contact, flush the contact area with plenty of water. Wash your hands after using the medicine. Women should avoid using the drug during lactation or in the last weeks of pregnancy, as it may cause contraction of smooth muscles (eg, uterus). Do not exceed the prescribed dose.

Packaging:

50ml injection solution placed in a transparent glass vial of the second type closed with a bromobutyl cap of the first type and an aluminum cap.

After opening:

Store the drug in a refrigerator (2 - 8 °C) and use within 2 weeks.
