INTROFLOR-300 is intended for the treatment and prevention of respiratory tract infections in cattle caused by such microorganisms as Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Histophilus somni. In cattle, reduced feed intake and temporary diarrhea may occur during treatment. After stopping the treatment, the animals recover quickly and completely. When the product is injected into the muscle and under the skin, local inflammatory lesions may develop, which remain for 14 days. Common side effects in pigs are transient diarrhea and/or perianal and rectal erythema/swelling, which may occur in up to 50% of treated animals and resolve spontaneously within a week. Transient swelling at the injection site can be seen up to 5 days, and inflammatory lesions can be visible up to 28 days.
Dosage:
For subcutaneous or intramuscular injection
Cattle: Treatment (intramuscular): 1 ml per 15 kg of body weight, twice with an interval of 48 hours. Treatment (subcutaneously): 2 ml per 15 kg of body weight, once. Prevention (subcutaneous): 2 ml per 15 kg of body weight, once. The injection is made only in the neck area. The dose should not exceed 10 ml per application site. Pig: 1 ml per 20 kg of body weight (muscle), twice with an interval of 48 hours. The injection is made only in the neck area. The dosage should not exceed 3 ml per site of application. It is recommended to carry out the treatment in the early stage of the disease and observe the results within 48 hours after the second injection. If the clinical signs of respiratory disease remain after 48 hours after the last injection, it is necessary to change the treatment with another form of medication or another 25 antibiotics, which should be continued until the clinical signs of the disease disappear.
