The drug "LEGA" ("LEGA") belongs to the group of drugs with insecticidal and acaricidal action. It has a pronounced insectocaricidal activity against fleas (Ctenocephalus spp.), parasitic ticks (Dermacentor spp., Rhipicephalus spp., Ixodes spp.) and lice in all phases of development in dogs, and also has a repellent effect against blood-sucking mosquitoes.

The active ingredient fipronil (C12H4Cl2F6N4OS) - [5-amino-1-[2,6-dichloro-4-(trifluoromethylphenyl]-4-(trifluoromethylsulfinyl)-1H-pyrazole-3-carbonitrile) - is a broad-spectrum insecticide. , without affecting the animal's central nervous system, disrupts the nervous system of ectoparasites, blocking ion channels of GABAA receptors and chloride (GluCl) channels, resulting in nervous excitation and death of ectoparasites.

The active substance (fipronil) included in the drug "Lega" has a contact effect and is practically not absorbed through the skin. Method of administration and dosage:
