Target animals:
Cattle, pigs.
Indications:
In cattle: treatment of respiratory infections caused by strains of Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia haemolytica, Histophilus somni and Mycoplasma bovis. It will also be used to treat acute mastitis caused by gram-negative bacteria susceptible to marbofloxacin. In pigs: treatment of postpartum dysgalactia syndrome caused by a bacterial strain susceptible to marbofloxacin.
Contraindications:
Do not use in animals hypersensitive to marbofloxacin, other quinolones or any of the excipients. Do not use in cases where the pathogen is resistant to other fluoroquinolones (cross-resistance).
Side effects:
Animals tolerate intramuscular or subcutaneous injections well, although inflammatory changes may develop at the injection site, which have no clinical significance.
Dosage:
Cattle: 2 mg Marbofloxacin/kg body weight (equivalent to 1 ml Marbosan-100 for every 50 kg body weight) once a day by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection for 3-5 days. Treatment of acute mastitis is recommended for 3 days by intramuscular injection. Pigs: 2 mg Marbofloxacin/kg body weight (equivalent to 1 ml Marbosan-100 per 50 kg body weight) once a day by intramuscular injection for 3 days.

Cattle:
Meat and offal: 6 days.
Milk: 36 hours.
Pig: meat and offal: 4 days.

Packaging:
Amber type II glass vials, 100 ml each, with a rubber stopper and an aluminum cap, in an individual cardboard box.
Storage conditions:
Marbosan-100 has a shelf life of 3 years in a dark place at a temperature of 25 0C. After opening, store in a dark place below 25 0C and use within 4 weeks.
