Pharmacological action:

Deltamethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid with a pronounced insecto-acaricidal and repellent effect, effective against scabies mites (Psoroptes, Sarcopies), ixoid mites (Boophilus, Haemaphis alts, Hyalomma, Ixodes, Rhipicephalus), blood-sucking insects, including horseflies (Pangonius, Heptatoma, Tabanus, Hybomitra, Atylotus), blowflies (HypodermaOestrus, Rhinoestrus, Cephenomia), mosquitoes (Aedes, Culex, Culiseta, Anopheles, Mansonia, Uranotaenia, Orthopodomyia), biting midges (Simuliidae), leeches (Melophagus ovinus) and zoophilic flies (Haematobia irritans, Haematobia stimulans, Wohlfahrtia magnifica, Lype rosia titilans, Lyperosia irritans).

The mechanism of action of deltamethrin is based on the blockade of neuromuscular transmission of nerve impulses at the level of peripheral nerve nodes, which leads to uncontrolled activity of the central nervous system and the death of ectoparasites.

Indications:

Used as a wash or spray solution for the prevention and treatment of ectoparasitic infestations (mange mites, lice, biting flies and sheep fleas) in cattle, goats, sheep and pigs.

Methods of use:

Spray treatment of parasites

Amount of Deltatrim per 5 liters of water

Moon mites ----------------------------- 5.0 ml

Lice / sheep fleas --------------- 1.25 ml

Mice / flies ------------------------------ 2.5 ml

Treatment by washing

Amount of Deltatrim per 100 liters of water

Precautions during washing treatment

Washing treatment is carried out in dry, cool weather. The duration of the procedure should not exceed 30-40 seconds. After leaving the pool, the animal is placed on a special platform for 10-15 minutes to apply the emulsion.

Treatment frequency:

Muzzle mites: Two treatments at 10-day intervals for mange mites.

Lice: A single treatment is sufficient.

Ticks and flies: The first two treatments are given at 15-day intervals, the subsequent intervals depend on re-infestation.

Flying insects: Treatment usually provides protection for 6 to 8 weeks.

Dilution for washing and spraying: Read the instructions provided.

Precautions for use:

The product is classified as hazardous. Safety and hygiene measures must be observed during handling. Carefully read the safety precautions before use.

Do not eat, drink or smoke directly when using the product.

Wash hands after work.

Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes.

Wear gloves, overalls or long-sleeved clothing and a hat when using the product or when working with recently treated animals.

Change contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.

In case of skin contact, wash exposed areas thoroughly with soap and water.

In case of eye or mucous membrane contact, rinse immediately with water.

People with known hypersensitivity to the product or any of its components should avoid contact with the product. If you feel unwell after using the product, seek medical advice immediately.

In case of accidental ingestion, rinse mouth immediately with water and seek medical advice.

Contraindications

Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

Do not use in animals with extensive skin lesions.

Adverse reactions

Minor signs of discomfort within 48 hours of treatment.

Withdrawal period(s)

Meat: 5 days

Milk: 24 hours

Storage:

Store at room temperature, in a dry, well-ventilated area, protected from light.

Container disposal:

Rinse three times under running water. Then recycle or repurpose or, if permitted by state and local authorities, dispose of in a sanitary landfill.

Potential hazards when used

The product is hazardous to bees. Avoid use around bees. Spray away from aquaculture and do not wash spray equipment in a pond.
