Pharmacological properties:
Oxytetracycline is a bacteriostatic antibiotic that inhibits protein synthesis in susceptible bacteria. Inside the cell, it irreversibly binds to the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome receptor, where it prevents the binding of the amino acid transfer RNA to the recipient part of the messenger RNA ribosomal complex. This effectively prevents the addition of amino acids to the peptide chain, ultimately inhibiting protein synthesis.

Target animals:
Cattle, calves, sheep, goats and pigs.

Indications:
Limoxin-25 Spray (Limoxin-25 Spray) is a means of external use for infections of the skin, mammary glands, hooves and paws that develop in cattle, calves, sheep, goats and pigs and are caused by microorganisms sensitive to oxytetracycline, namely Bordetella, Campylobacter , Chlamydia, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines.

Side effects:
Hypersensitivity reactions.

Special safety measures during use:
Do not spray in or around the eyes.
Do not burn or puncture the spray can.
Do not allow the product to be used at temperatures above 50°C. It is not possible to use the product in combination with other external preparations.

Use during pregnancy and lactation:
There is no limitation.

Interactions:
Do not combine Limoxin-25 Spray with other external drugs.

Dosage recommendations and methods of administration:
It is for external use. Shake well before use. Before spraying, the treatment area should be cleaned and the hooves trimmed. Before using the drug, the wounds should be cleaned. Spray for a few seconds from a distance of 15-20 cm, or until the affected area is covered, once or twice a day.

Overdose:
Not relevant for the mentioned external use drug.
