Pharmacological action:
"Fenbendazole 22.2%" is an anthelmintic drug of the benzimidazole group. Fenbendazole (methyl[5-phenylthio)-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl]-carbamate) is characterized by a wide range of nematocidal and cestodocidal activity, active against adult forms, larvae and eggs of gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes, as well as cestodes.
Fenbendazole disrupts carbohydrate metabolism and microtubular function of helminths, and disruption of energy processes leads to the death of parasites.
Pharmacokinetics:
When taken orally, fenbendazole is easily absorbed from the intestines and distributed in the organs and tissues of the animal; It is excreted from the body in unchanged form and in the form of metabolites, mainly with bile and partly with urine, as well as with milk in lactating animals.

Method of administration and dosage:
The drug is given without prior fasting diet, orally, individually or by group (in domestic birds) method. For cattle, sheep, goats, horses, donkeys, pigs, the drug is given once with food. Mixed in feed for domestic birds twice.
When using the drug by an individual method
Cattle, sheep, goats - 3.4 g of the drug per 100 kg of live weight. In case of fasciolosis, dicroceliosis, paramphistomosis, moniesiosis, 4.5 g per 100 kg of live weight.
Horse up to 4 years old, donkey - 4.5 g of the drug per 100 kg of live weight
Horse over 4 years old - 3.4 g of the drug per 100 kg of live weight
Pig - 2.3 g of the drug per 100 kg of live weight
Poultry - the drug is prescribed as a group, mixed with food once a day for two consecutive days. 0.45 g of the drug per 10 kg of live weight.
Before mass treatment, preliminary testing of the drug is carried out in small groups of animals of each species. In case of complications, the use of the drug should be stopped for the given species.
Side effects:
Side effects and complications do not appear when using "Fenbendazole 22.2%" according to the instructions.
Symptoms of overdose have not been detected in animals.
Contraindications:
The drug is not used in weak, weakened animals. In acute fasciolosis, in cattle in the first third of pregnancy, in pigs and sheep in the first half of pregnancy.
When individual sensitivity of the animal to the active components of the drug increases and/or allergic reactions occur, its use is stopped.
